THE HEART OF
WONDERPATH
The Main Curriculum is the core of the Wonderpath learning journey. Rooted in art history and designed to connect subjects through story, reflection, and creative exploration, it offers a steady rhythm families can return to throughout the year.
As Wonderpath grows, this curriculum is evolving into a hearthstyle model. One shared foundation brings learners together, while age-specific pathways allow each child to explore at the depth that feels right for them.

WHAT HEARTHSTYLE MEANS
Hearthstyle learning is built around the idea of gathering around shared ideas while honoring individual growth. Families learn from a common starting point, then branch into deeper exploration based on age, curiosity, and readiness.
This approach allows siblings to learn together, encourages meaningful conversation, and creates a sense of continuity across the learning experience.
THE CURRICULUM STRUCTURE
Each semester of the Main Curriculum is built around a central textbook paired with age-specific workbooks.
The textbook serves as the shared foundation. It introduces the core artists, themes, and ideas that guide the semester.
Workbooks then extend that learning through activities, reflection, and exploration designed for different developmental stages:
Primary
Elementary
Middle School
High School
Occasionally, an Adult Companion

artist progression
The artist studies grow in depth as learners move through the curriculum.
Primary and Elementary learners explore the three core artists introduced in the textbook, focusing on observation, storytelling, and creative response.
Middle School learners revisit those three artists and are introduced to one additional artist, expanding historical context and critical thinking.
High School learners engage with the core three, the Middle School addition, and two additional artists chosen specifically for advanced exploration, analysis, and interdisciplinary connections.
This layered approach allows students to revisit ideas over time, building familiarity while deepening understanding with each stage.
HOW FAMILIES USE THIS CURRICULUM
Families can move through the curriculum at their own pace, using it as a full learning spine or as an anchor for art history and interdisciplinary study.
Some families follow the semesters in order, while others begin where their curiosity leads. The structure is designed to be flexible, supportive, and adaptable to different learning rhythms.
