About Wonderpath
Is Wonderpath secular?
Yes. Wonderpath is fully secular and evidence-based.
We explore history, art, mythology, religion, folklore, cultural traditions, science, and belief systems as parts of the human story. Religious and cultural traditions are treated with curiosity, context, and respect, never as doctrine.
What ages is this for?
Wonderpath is designed for learners from the early years through high school, with many resources that adults enjoy too.
The Core Curriculum is divided into four levels:
Primary
Elementary
Middle School
High School
Other Wonderpath resources, including Deep Dives, Art Studies, Wander the Wheel, Curious Compass, and Arts & Humanities, may span a wider range of ages depending on the subject and format.
How does Wonderpath grow with my child?
Wonderpath is interdisciplinary, inquiry-driven, and built around connection.
Art may lead to history. History may lead to science. Science may lead to literature, geography, nature, philosophy, or an entirely unexpected question.
Students are encouraged to look closely, ask questions, evaluate evidence, make things, follow connections, and understand how we know what we know.

Formats & Access
How do I receive the curriculum?
Digital resources are delivered as PDF files that can be viewed on a device or printed at home.
Printed products are professionally produced and shipped to the address provided with your order.
Available formats vary by product, so check the individual product listing for current options.
Do I need special supplies?
Usually not.
Most Wonderpath activities are designed around accessible art materials, household supplies, books, observation, conversation, and resources that are easy to find.
Any unusual or optional materials are identified within the individual study.
Do I have to print everything?
No.
Many readings and guides can be used digitally while individual worksheets, activity pages, or reference materials are printed as needed.
Printed editions are also available for many Wonderpath resources.
Using Wonderpath
Do I need teaching experience?
No.
Wonderpath is designed for parents, caregivers, co-op leaders, educators, and curious adults, including people who do not have formal backgrounds in art history or the subjects being explored.
The goal is not to arrive as the expert.
It is perfectly acceptable to say, “I don't know. Let's find out.”
Can I use this with multiple ages?
Yes.
The Core Curriculum uses a multi-age approach we call Hearthstyle Learning: one table, one story, every age.
Learners can share an artist, theme, historical moment, or central idea while engaging with it at different developmental levels.
Other Wonderpath studies can also be adapted for mixed-age families, although the suggested age range varies by resource.
Does it align to standards?
Many Wonderpath curricula include standards references and academic skill connections.
Depending on the resource, these may include National Core Arts Standards, Common Core, NGSS, NCSS, and other relevant frameworks.
Standards information is included where appropriate within individual curriculum materials.
Do we have to complete everything?
Absolutely not.
Wonderpath is structured, but it is meant to remain flexible.
Read everything. Skip something. Spend three weeks on a rabbit hole. Use a lesson as written or adapt it to the learner sitting in front of you.
The curriculum provides the path.
You are allowed to wander.
The Wonderpath Ecosystem
What is the Core Curriculum?
he Wonderpath Core Curriculum is the central learning spine of Wonderpath.
It is a long-form interdisciplinary curriculum organized around shared themes and developed across Primary, Elementary, Middle School, and High School levels.
Families can learn within the same intellectual world while each student works at an appropriate level of depth.
What are Deep Dives?
Deep Dives are independent interdisciplinary studies that allow families to explore a subject outside the Core Curriculum.
They come in three sizes:
Journeys for long-form exploration.
Pathways for focused mid-length studies.
Waypoints for short investigations and curiosity-led detours.
What are Journeys?
Journeys are the longest Wonderpath Deep Dives.
Most are designed to unfold across approximately eight to sixteen weeks, depending on the subject and your family's pace.
They provide space for sustained interdisciplinary exploration, research, primary sources, creative work, and the occasional very deep rabbit hole.
What are Pathways?
Pathways are focused mid-length studies.
They explore a central topic across several disciplines while remaining more contained than a Journey.
They work well as standalone units, extensions to another curriculum, seasonal studies, or focused stretches of interdisciplinary learning.
What are Waypoints?
Waypoints are Wonderpath's shortest Deep Dives.
They are compact investigations built around a person, object, artwork, place, question, event, or idea.
Many can be completed in one lesson, a few days, or a lighter homeschool week.
Short does not mean shallow.
What are Art Studies?
Art Studies are focused explorations of artists, artworks, visual culture, and the questions they inspire.
They combine slow looking, visual literacy, historical context, evidence, and interdisciplinary connections.
Some focus on a single artist. Others may explore individual artworks, groups of images, or larger visual themes.
What is Arts & Humanities?
Arts & Humanities is a collection of studies exploring human expression through art, literature, folklore, food, mystery, symbolism, material culture, and related subjects.
Its growing branches include collections such as Art & Reverie, Art Crimes, Ink & Imagination, and Feast & Folklore.
What is Wander the Wheel?
Wander the Wheel follows seasonal rhythms, folklore, festivals, cultural traditions, food, nature, art history, and the changing year.
Each issue creates an interdisciplinary seasonal exploration that families can use on its own or alongside other Wonderpath studies.
What is Curious Compass?
Curious Compass turns museums, historic sites, exhibitions, and places into learning experiences.
Guides may include historical context, works or objects to seek out, observation prompts, activities, scavenger hunts, and ways to continue exploring after the visit.
Think of it as a field trip with an archivist tucked into your pocket.
What is the History Series?
Wonderpath History offers long-form, secular, evidence-based historical study.
The World History series explores the human story across multiple eras while incorporating archaeology, primary sources, material culture, historical debate, art, geography, and changing scholarly understanding.
What are Free Resources?
Free Resources are complete mini-studies, sample lessons, learning tools, printables, and other materials offered as an accessible way to begin exploring Wonderpath.
They are not throwaway samples.
They are designed to be useful learning experiences in their own right.
Bundles, Classrooms, & Educators
Can I build my own curriculum?
Yes.
Wonderpath is intentionally modular.
Families may use the Core Curriculum as their primary path, add Art Studies or Deep Dives, follow Wander the Wheel, explore history independently, or build a completely different combination around their learner's interests.
There is no requirement to purchase every branch of Wonderpath.
Can Wonderpath be used in a co-op, classroom, museum, or learning group?
Yes.
Wonderpath works with families, co-ops, educators, museums, libraries, and other learning organizations.

How often do new units release?
Wonderpath is a growing library rather than a single release schedule.
Wander the Wheel follows its own seasonal publication rhythm, while new Art Studies, Deep Dives, history resources, Core Curriculum materials, and other publications are released as they are completed.
