Where the series begins

Era 01 opens the twelve-era arc at its very start. Across seven chapters and six interludes, the textbook moves through the earliest human story: how we know what we know, how people lived and made and buried and remembered, and how the deep past still reaches into the present we are standing in.

This is the first turn of a spiral that will carry your family across the whole of human history. The nine recurring themes that run the length of the series begin here, in the oldest chapter of all.
