How the levels work

There are five support levels, and they are exactly that: support levels, not age assignments. Choose by the support a child needs, not by grade or birthday. A child might work a level up in one era and settle back the next, and the workbook is built to make that easy. What changes between levels is how much scaffolding sits under the work. What never changes is the shape of the work itself.

The four movements

Every Era 01 workbook moves through the same four named movements that run the length of Wonderpath: entry, evidence, uncertainty, and expression. Noticing before naming for the youngest. Weighing sources and building an argument for the oldest. The lexicon is fixed across all five levels, so a child who moves up between eras still recognizes the shape of the page in front of them. The work meets a child where they are rather than where a grade level says they should be.

Entry is the way in, the first noticing. Evidence is the looking closer, the gathering of what we can actually see and know. Uncertainty is the honest room we leave for what scholars do not yet know, and for a child's own not-knowing. Expression is where a child makes something of their own from all of it.
